The greatest respect goes out to our men that are currently serving.
May god bless each and everyone of them!
May we NEVER forget the sacrifices that they are making at this moment!!!
I Served in the United States Navy; stationed in Guam, San Diego, and Tennessee. While serving in the United States Navy I was proud, and like many did my job the best that I could for 4 years.
Then I was released from active duty, HONORABLY DISCHARGED.
I did my time in the reserves 4 more years.
I never thought that my military service would benefit me for the rest of my life.
Sure I got some great training and great self discipline but to expect benefits beyond that was not known to me, after all... I was not a wounded in combat veteran.
I was blessed to be unharmed during my service. Some of my friends were not so lucky and some came back with PTSD. May god bless all that have given more than time for our freedom. I did not belive anyone in my catagory would be allowed benefits. I did not do "20" , I was not a "lifer" I serverd and got out. I soon learned that most of our citizens are thankful for our service if they only know.
Most places of business have "Military Discounts" and you can basically live your life at 10% off.
Don't make the same mistake that I did! Get your military ID Card and start living life at 10% off
Almost everyone appreciates your service and they are glad to show you!!!
I believed that because I did not retire from the military, that I would not be able to get an ID Card, I was wrong!!!
